Hiring a private tutor can be really expensive, especially for college students who are already under enormous financial strain. For students on the budget I created economy tutoring. The cost of this service is $80/month.
So what do you get for $80/month?
1) Instructional videos
Each video is about 10-15 minutes long and consists of the explanation of the concept and examples on how to apply it in problem solving.
2) Pre-video questions
The pre-video questions test your understanding of the prerequisite topic. For instance, if the topic is reactions of aldehydes and ketones, the pre-video questions will test your understanding of electronegativity, hybridization and pKa. If you can't answer the pre-video questions you will be referred to the module that covers this particular topic.
3) Post-video questions
Most typical problems encountered in organic chemistry exams on this particular topic
Included in the $80 fee is 1hr of tutoring per month and email access to me. If you get stuck on a problem in the middle of the night, you can email me and I will get back to you within 24hrs. If you have an exam coming up, you can schedule your 1hr of tutoring with me. Please provide me with a 3 day notice prior to scheduling.
